Your path to learning English begins with THE ENGLISH SCHOOL.  Students are supported to build on their skills from the previous level to reach their goals from year to year.  We are proud to have a 96% pass rate for Cambridge exams motivating our students to succeed as they develop their confidence and prove their language ability to the world.

Very Young Learners
3 & 4 Year Olds

We believe that these early years are the best years to introduce language to children. Our classes are designed to take into consideration their unique learning style. We offer a fun and safe environment full of play to make learning English a pleasant experience.

Young Learners
5 - 8 Year Olds

Young learners develop key language structures where we introduce reading and writing through stories, songs and creative play. Team work is essential for students to practice communicating with their peers in English often working on stimulating projects which support the essential skills of reading, writing listening and speaking.

Foundation
9 - 12 Year Olds


Students in these levels are ready to prove their level of English that they have learned to date.  We prepare students for the internationally recognized Cambridge Young Learners exams.  These exams are designed to be a gentle introduction to test taking, building confidence and focusing on specific skills such as speaking and listening. 

A2 Key English Test for Schools

An A2 Key English Test for Schools qualification shows that a student can use English to communicate in simple situations. It’s a logical next step after our Cambridge Young Learners Exams and a good place for older children to start learning English too. The exam gives students the confidence to go on to study for higher-level English exams, such as B1 Preliminary English Test for Schools.

B1 Preliminary English Test for Schools

A B1 Preliminary English Test for Schools qualification shows that a student has mastered the basics of English and now has practical language skills for everyday use. This exam is the logical step in a student’s language learning journey between A2 KET for Schools and B2 First Certificate for Schools. 

B2 First Certificate in English for Schools​

A B2 First Certificate for Schools qualification proves you have the language skills to live and work independently in an English-speaking country or study on courses taught in English.  This exam is the logical step between B1 PET for Schools and C1 Advanced Certificate.

C1 Certificate in Advanced English​

More than 9,000 educational institutions, businesses and government departments around the world accept C1 Advanced as proof of high-level achievement in learning English.  Preparing for C1 Advanced helps learners develop the skills to make the most of studying, working and living in English-speaking countries. This exam is the logical step in your language learning journey between B2 First for Schools and C2 Proficiency.

C2 Certificate of Proficiency in English​

A C2 Proficiency qualification shows the world that you have mastered English to an exceptional level. It proves you can communicate with the fluency and sophistication of a highly competent English speaker. Preparing for and passing the exam means you have the level of English that’s needed to study or work in a very senior professional or academic environment, for example on a postgraduate or PhD programme.

Cambridge Levels and the Common European Framework of Reference

We prepare for the world’s most trusted exams and tests for higher education. The diagram above gives you an overview of what we offer mapped to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) and the Cambridge English Scale. The CEFR is an international standard for describing language ability. It describes language ability on a six-point scale, from A1 for beginners, up to C2 for those who have mastered a language.
